Milestone #1 | A Challenging Beginning
In 2015, Travis Godoy, pursuing a nursing degree, faced a workplace accident that changed his path. Unable to continue his studies, he dedicated himself to understanding why many Americans struggle to access healthcare, turning this inquiry into a personal mission over the next three years.
By 2018, Travis experimented with solutions that combined his knowledge of healthcare systems with his interest in technology and marketing. Through trial and error, he developed strategies to connect individuals with the right providers, bridging the gap between healthcare services and those in need.
Travis launched Godoy Medical Marketing (GMM) on March 1, 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic brought shutdowns. He quickly adapted to help providers connect with clients, which highlighted the need for data-driven marketing—the foundation of our work moving forward.
